In 2022 Erik and I were able to travel to Missouri, and attend an elderberry conference hosted by River Hills Harvest. We learned so much and were able to connect with seasoned elderberry farmers as well as new farmers. We took classes and learned so much enjoying the education and empowerment. It helped us know that we can do this and that this isn’t just a pipe dream, this is our future.

One of our favorite parts of the whole conference was the ablility to tour established elderberry orchards in the MO area. We were able to visualize how we want to set up our own fields and were able to better understand what it is going to take. The other growers shared what they would have done differntly and why.
